Noemí Méndez

Noemi Mendez is a prominent human rights lawyer advocating for the rights of migrants workers and Dominicans of Haitian descent, particularly those from Movimiento Reconoci.do (Recognition Movement). Reconoci.do is an independent national civic network, consisting mainly of Dominicans of Haitian descent. The movement promotes the right to a nationality and seeks real, full and effective integration of Dominicans of Haitian descent in Dominican society.
