Dalila Touat is a woman human rights defender and is part of the Mostaganem Hirak movement. Her human rights work focuses on demanding improved rights for workers in Algeria, and is involved with the movement for the rights of the unemployed in Mostaganem.
Peaceful protests have been forcibly dispersed and protesters and human rights defenders have been arrested and charged.
