Sari Jaradat is a member of the Human Rights Defenders Palestine (تجمع المدافعين عن حقوق الانسان), which denounces human rights abuses committed against Palestinians in Hebron by the Israeli military. As part of the work for the network, Sari Jaradat trains activists in documenting human rights violations. He also works as a correspondent for several local and international media agencies.

 

Human rights defenders in the OPT are subjected to acts of harassment, restrictions on freedom of movement, stigmatisation, abductions, long periods of arbitrary detention usually under administrative detention orders, illegal searches of their homes and offices and killings.
