Hamza Al-Hammadi is a Yemeni human rights defender and journalist based in Kuwait. His activities focus on peacebuilding and raising awareness about human rights violations in Yemen. He works at Sana’a Centre for Strategic Studies, an independent think-tank promoting change in Yemen by covering a range of political, social, economic and security related issues.
Amidst the fragile and loose security situation and the political, religious and territorial conflicts in Yemen, HRDs have been the victim of harassment, intimidation and violence, including physical attacks.
