Anamely Ramos González

Anamely Ramos González is an artist and defender of cultural rights in Cuba. She worked for twelve years as a professor and researcher at the University of the Arts (ISA), but was expelled for exercising her rights to freedom of expression and movement. She currently coordinates projects to rescue historical memory and forms of organization in Cuba, through art and cultural works, that have been historically censored. Anamely Ramos has also exercised great leadership during the campaign against Decree 349 from the “SIN 349” collective that promotes the rights of freedom of expression, including artistic creation.
