A security grant awarded to the Lebanese Center for Human Rights based in Beirut

In January 2012, Front Line Defenders awarded a security grant to the Lebanese Center for Human Rights (CLDH) based in Beirut.

This grant paid for alarm system, CCTV Cameras, video inter-phone and remote door opening. CLDH gave this as feedback:

"This grants programme is of extreme importance for small organisations, particularly in a country where security services might either attack human rights organisations or refrain from investigating the attacks they face. We warmly thank Front Line Defenders for its support that changed positively and lastingly our working conditions".
