Pelin Songül Çiçek is a woman human rights defender and a member of Mor Dayanışma, a feminist organisation established in Antakya (Hatay). The woman human rights defender is the Adana city representative, as well as a member of the central coordination committee of the organisation. She is also involved in children rights and ecology. She defines herself as socialist feminist.

Location
Human rights defenders (HRDs) in Turkey have been subjected to judicial harassment, including criminal prosecution, violent attacks, threats, surveillance, prolonged arbitrary detention, and ill-treatment. In the aftermath of an attempted coup in July 2016, the environment for the work of HRDs deteriorated even further.
