Patricia Stephenson - Institutional Grants Manager

Patricia joined Front Line Defenders as an Institutional Grants Manager in March 2021. She has 6 years experience working in the development sector with a specific focus on Africa. She has worked on a range of issues including governance and human rights, access to justice,  peacebuilding, access to education, and preventing and countering violent extremism. Patricia previously lived and worked in Uganda, Kenya, Somalia, South Sudan, Zimbabwe and Sierra Leone. Prior to joining Front Line Defenders, she worked for the EU Delegation to Uganda and she has also worked on several development projects, including a nation-wide M&E project in South Sudan and an evaluation for the World Bank in Somalia.
