Mariana Beltrán Cortés is an independent journalist and accompanier of community processes in the Yucatán peninsula. She works on issues related to the environment, social justice, racism and human rights. She has collaborated with several organizations in the southeast, including Kanan Derechos Humanos, where she currently works.
