Laura O'Leary

Laura is the International Events and Promotions Coordinator. Before joining Front Line Defenders, she worked as a freelance event manager for the educational, experiential and events company Real Nation, looking after clients such as AIB, Irish Aid, Local Enterprise Office, Bord na Mona amoungst others, coordinating and delivering their students events all over the country in venues from the RDS and Croke Park in Dublin to Triskel Arts Centre in Cork. Previous to this, she was the public engagement executive for Oxfam Ireland, coordinating their volunteer steward program at events such as Longitude and Kilmainham shows and also managed the Oxjam Ireland music activities producing their stage at Electric Picnic, hosting 40+ Irish up and coming bands over 3 days. She also coordinated the Oxjam Gig Maker program, supporting people nationwide to host their own gigs and events to raise awareness and funds for Oxfam.
