The Colectivo de Observación y Monitoreo de Derechos Humanos en el Sureste Mexicano is a grassroots organisation made up of 20 civil organisations at border points in Mexico which, through monitoring brigades, analyses the situation of people on the move. The Collective works in the states of Chiapas, Oaxaca and Veracruz to document cases, channel migrants to the institutions responsible for activating international protection mechanisms, and prepare reports.
