Human rights defenders Mr Jaime Cesar Borda Pari and Mr Romualdo Tito Pinto have been released but may still face charges following their arrest on 28 May 2012 in the province of Espinar.
On 28 May 2012, Mr Jaime Cesar Borda Pari and Mr Romualdo Tito Pinto were detained by agents of the Special Operations Division (DINOES) of the National Police of Peru (PNP), in the province of Espinar, Cusco.
