Justine Masika Bihamba works in Northern Kivu, in east Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) documenting sexual violence against rural and urban based women, as well as evidence of war crimes. She continues to receive regular death threats.

Justine Masika Bihamba is the President of the non-governmental organisation Synergie des femmes pour les victimes des violences sexuelles – SFVS.
