Alternative Dispute Resolution

According to the UN Committee on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights, the right to an effective remedy need not be interpreted always as requiring a judicial remedy as administrative remedies will, in many cases, be adequate. When used effectively ADR can be relatively inexpensive, timely, accessible, and promote dialogue and reconciliation.
