Palestinian human rights defender receives fourth administrative detention order

Palestinian human rights defender and fieldworker with the West Bank human rights organization (Al Haq), Ziyad Hmeidan, received his fourth consecutive administrative detention order on 13 November 2006. He was due to be released on 19 November; his detention has been extended by four months. According to his lawyer, the review hearing of the new extension order will take place on 20 November
