Retired persons and non-governmental organizations are challenging a myriad of social and economic rights denials associated with the poor administration of retirement and social security benefits. The petitioners rest their claims on the American Declaration on the Rights and Duties of Man and the American Convention on Human Rights, alleging ESC rights violations derived from delayed entitlement judgments, postponed social security adjustments and postponed or inadequate enforcement of judgements.
