Between 31 May and 1 June 2007 more than 20 lesbian, gay, bisexual, transvestite, transsexual, transgender and intersex (LGBTTTI) activists met in Panama in a parallel event to the 37th Session of the General Assembly of the Organization of American States. Front Line está muy conmovida por la muerte de Sahar Al-Haidari, periodista iraquí, sucedida en Mosul, su pueblo natal, el 7 de junio del 2007. Tenía tres hijos y trabajaba como reportera para Iraq Voices, una agencia de noticias con sede en Mosul, la National Iraq News Agency – NINA (Agencia Nacional Iraquí de Noticias) y para el Institute for War and Peace Reporting. Con Sahar Al-Haidari son tres los periodistas muertos en Iraq en las últimas dos semanas.

Upsurge of violence against human rights organizations in Guatemalaposted on: 2007/05/24

On 20 May 2007 intruders broke into the office of ActionAid in Zone 13 of Guatemala City and stole computer hard-drives containing files on ActionAids work in Guatemala. No other items of value were taken. ActionAid is the fifth member of the International Forum of NGOs to be attacked in the last month.
