Front Line manifiesta su seria preocupación ante los informes sobre que Parvin Ardalan ha sido intimada a presentarse ante el Tribunal Revolucionario, Sección N° 13, el 2 de agosto de 2008, acusada de actuar contra la seguridad nacional mediante propaganda antigubernamental. Estas acusaciones tienen relación con su labor con los sitios web "Change for Equality" (Cambios por la Igualdad) y “Zanestan". Parvin Ardalan es activista por los derechos de la mujer y una de los miembros fundadores de la Campaña por Un Millón de Firmas.

Parvin Ardalan, una de las fundadoras de la campaña por “Un millón de firmas”, y activista por los derechos de la mujer desde hace ya muchos años, fue galardonada con el Premio Olof Palme 2007, en honor a sus logros y activismo diseñado con el fin de obtener igualdad de derechos para la mujer.

Front Line is gravely concerned over reports of the continued violent harassment of women human rights defenders in Iran. On Monday, 12th of June 2006, a number of women human rights defenders peacefully protested for women’s rights. The gathering was disrupted by female police officers, who used pepper gas and beat a number of the protesters. Approximately 60 protesters were arrested and are being held at an unknown location. Front Line is confirming the names of those human rights defenders arrested

Prior to the demonstration, on the 11th of June 2006, a number of women human rights defenders were arrested and interrogated in an attempt by the police to stop them from demonstrating.
