Front Line welcomes reports that seven organizers of the international LGBT conference arrested in Minsk on 9 November have been released from prison. The organising committee decided to postpone the conference scheduled for the 10-12 November for security reasons. Front Line remains gravely concerned by these arbitrary arrests and believes authorities are failing to protect the physical security, freedom of expression and freedom of assembly of the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community in Belarus.
