Attacked in Ukraine

On 20 May 2012, Sviatoslav Sheremet was assaulted by suspected neo-Nazi thugs in Kiev after meeting with members of the media to inform them that the first gay parade in the city was cancelled due to threats. Sviatoslav is the head of the Gay Forum of Ukraine. He was bloodied after being kicked, punched and stomped on.
